C - Creamfields
Music is a hug part of Halton’s identity. Creamfields began in 1998 as an electronic music festival created by Liverpool’s Cream nightclub. Originally it was held in Winchester before moving outdoors in 2006 to its long‑term home in Daresbury, Cheshire. It has since grown into one of the UK’s largest festivals, drawing in more than 70,000 attendees. The festival made history in 2024, with the world’s largest festival structure with a 30,000‑person capacity and will celebrate 20 years at Daresbury this year.
