Heritage Open Days: Look Up Halton – You’re Beautiful!
In celebration of Heritage Open Days: Architecture, we are running a new community campaign from Monday 1st – Monday 15th focused on the artwork hidden within Halton. From the intricate patterns on a bridge to colourful stained-glass windows, historic street signs, murals, or even tiles on the floor. Take a moment to look up and notice the little details around the borough. Snap a picture, draw or sketch what you discover and submit your artwork by submitting here, or share it to Instagram using #LookUpHalton, #HaltonHighlights and tag @visithalton, or drop a physical copy off at your local library.
All submissions will help create a living gallery of Halton and inspire a new artwork installation by Colette Whittington on the windows of Runcorn Library that celebrates Halton’s art-itectuere!
