What’s on the Menu?

Here’s a taste of what you’ll find inside:

  • CafĂ© Culture: Sip canal-side cappuccinos, grab pastries with your puppuccino, and discover cosy spots where coffee meets creativity.
  • Feel-Good Food: Think farm-fresh ice cream, sustainable veg boxes, and eateries that care about the planet as much as your palate.
  • Handmade in Halton: Meet the makers behind small-batch hot sauces, local honey, specialty teas, and sweet treats.
  • A Culinary Journey: Explore global flavours right on your doorstep—from authentic Italian gelato to bold Thai street food.

More Than Just Food

“This guide is about more than just what’s on the menu,” says Councillor Laura Bevan. “If you’re like me and my family, and love to seek out something a little different for a foodie treat on days out, this guide is your perfect companion.”

It’s also a celebration of community, creativity, and connection. Many of the featured spots are independent cafés, family-run delis, and welcoming community hubs—places where passion and personality shine through every dish.
