While the walled garden takes a winter break, the museum remains open from 10 am to 4 pm, with the last admission at 3 pm (closed Wednesday and Thursday) and will be closed for the Christmas period from 18th December to 1st January. Bring your furry friends on leads and explore the festive charm via the Museum Visitor Centre, complete with a café, toilets, and a gift shop.

Looking for a great spot for your winter walk? Visit Runcorn Hill Park. If you want to experience some incredible views, there are a variety of paths to take, but the best one leads to the top of the hill with a view over The Mersey, with Snowdonia in the distance, Liverpool on the skyline, and the planes coming in to land at Liverpool Airport, flying just above your head!
