The man-made island at the centre of Britain’s chemical industry hosted the Stone Roses’ 1990 gig which ‘defined a generation’. There is also a great wooden play area for the kids as well as the outdoor playground at Catalyst Museum.

Spike Island is a tranquil green area which covers approximately 70-acres and consist of a variety of wildlife and flora.
